FairRepair is a division of Automotive Information Resources ("AIR"), an industry leader in repair validation. Unlike a collision or accident, where motor vehicle insurance pays for the cost of repairs, the owner of the vehicle generally pays for the cost of repairing a mechanical breakdown out of their own pocket. As such, it became very apparent to AIR that the general public had a right and need to know what it actually should cost to have their vehicle repaired. With this in mind we set out to create a system that would allow someone with virtually no mechanical knowledge to validate the cost to repair their vehicle. The result is the Patent Pending process utilized by FairRepair. Unlike other websites that give a broad range (guess-timate), FairRepair. gives you the exact costs to repair your specific vehicle.

If you were a trained technician or a Repair Shop sales representative, you would be able to create an estimate of what the true and accurate cost to repair your vehicle should be. For the first time ever, FairRepair gives you the ability to create a repair estimate for your vehicle on your own without having any technical training whatsoever. Why is this important to you? First, when your vehicle is in need of repair you will now know what the fair cost to repair it is. No more wondering if you were, or are, being overcharged. Second, if your car or truck has already been repaired, you will be able to confirm that what your Repair Shop or service center charged you was fair.
